Columbus has a split retail personality: Easton Town Center draws crowds with its open-air format and national anchors, while Polaris Fashion Place covers the north end as one of Ohio's larger enclosed malls. But a lot of the more interesting shopping happens off the mall circuit, in the antique shops along South High Street and in Italian Village, or the independent jewelry and estate pieces found in Short North and Worthington.

Bridal and baby gear each have their own sections for focused searches, and shopping centers maps the major retail corridors by location. Antiques and jewelry are worth browsing even if you're not on a specific hunt.
